Meet the Owner

LaToya, a Southern native, lives in the deep South with her son. Her parents, James and Janie Johnson, instilled in her the principle of "Faith over Fear." After graduating from both a 2-year and a 4-year college with Associate and Bachelor's degrees, LaToya worked two full-time jobs to support her family. She has three beloved siblings with whom she shares a strong bond.

LaToya always dreamed of starting her own business and eventually founded two. Her initial goal for LJ Scrubs Collection was to create distinctive, high-quality uniform scrubs to positively impact medical professionals. This vision has been the driving force behind her work, seeing LJ Scrubs Collection not just as a business but as a calling. She firmly believes that medical professionals deserve comfortable, functional, and stylish apparel that reflects their commitment and professionalism.

Passionate about creating unique and fashionable scrubs and accessories for the medical industry, LaToya wanted to launch a scrub line that included fun, colorful, and unique accessories. LJ Scrubs Collection, LLC was officially founded in late Fall of 2021.
